$1.9M+ Raised Across 4 Kickstarter Campaigns

  • Managed marketing for 4 consecutive product launches that collectively raised $1.9M+ from 29,000+ backers in 14 months.

  • Owned email marketing, social media, and brand partnerships as the primary backer conversion channels for each campaign.

  • Coordinated back-to-back campaign launches while working with an international team, ensuring each product hit its funding goal.

Background

LastObject is a Copenhagen-based company that creates reusable alternatives to single-use household items like cotton swabs, tissues, and cotton rounds. The company sells direct-to-consumer through e-commerce and Amazon, launching new products via Kickstarter campaigns.

LastObject hired me in March 2021 during their product expansion phase. After the breakout success of their first product (LastSwab), they were scaling aggressively with sequential product launches. They needed someone who could execute the core distribution strategy that would activate their existing customer base while bringing in new backers for each campaign.

I owned email marketing, social media, and brand partnerships, the three primary channels driving backer conversion for crowdfunding campaigns. My role was to hit campaign funding goals by consistently activating their email list and social following, plus building strategic partnerships to expand reach.

The Results

I executed marketing for 4 consecutive Kickstarter campaigns: LastTissue ($792K), LastRound ($345K), LastPad ($385K), and LastTissue Box ($408K). The campaigns collectively raised $1.9M+ from 29,000+ backers across 14 months.

Each campaign hit its funding goal, with the strategy proving repeatable across different product categories. Managing back-to-back launches meant coordinating email sequences, social content calendars, and partnership activations simultaneously while working with an international team across time zones.

Testimonial

It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Jessica. She’s done an awesome job capturing the tone of LastObject and conveying it to our followers in an engaging way. She’s reliable and thoughtful, and always looking for new and creative ways to engage with existing and potential followers and collaborators, instead of just relying on tried and tested ideas. She’s lifted the overall quality of our social media, and has grown our following significantly in the time she’s been a part of LastObject.
